ROUND FEEDER
The round feeder is designed to hold a large quantity of dry feed and dispense it in a controlled way. The cylindrical shape offers strength and stability.
The trough of the bulkfeeder is developed from the design we use in our conventional ad lib feeders- a design which has proven to minimise feed waste, whilst giving the pig good access to the feed and security whilst feeding because of the full height trough divisions.
Farmers using the Round feeder in out door units are finding that feed wastage is virtually zero and that the feeder can accommodate pigs from 7kg to 100kg.
The trough is also designed to prevent the buildup of stale feed, by eliminating areas where feed can lodge.
The round trough has 10 feed spaces giving the feeder the capacity to accommodate up to 100 finisher pigs.
It is manufactured from prime grade black polypropylene, and can be used both indoors and outdoors. The hopper is supplied with a close fitting weather proof lid.
