Connector bolts are used to securely clamp two worktops together.
Using the worktop template, slots are machined with the router into the underside of the worktop across each half of the joint.
The connector bolt is located in this long slot. The nut is tightened onto the bolt pressing the caps against the walls of the Ø 35 mm holes and pulling the two worktops or panels together.
This task is usually done upside down in the corner cupboard!
