Ecosheet has been developed as a solution to the increasing demand within agriculture for sustainable products that both re-use and reduce waste streams.
Ecosheet is made in the UK, using innovative Powder Impression Moulding Technology.
Ecosheet is made from a mix of recycled polymers and other recycled materials to make a paintable waterproof alternative to plywood. It can be worked in the normal way .It can be nailed, sawn, drilled and screwed without the need for specialist tools or skills.

At the end of its useful life Ecosheet can be recycled rather than go to landfill.

Ecosheet is ideal for many external and internal projects where plywood is considered suitable

Sawing We recommend TCT bladed circular saws, they cut well with minimal friction. We can recommend the DeWalt 1206 TCT and the Evolution Fury TCT blades. There is little or no breakout when using these saw blades.
Ecosheet produces a plastic swarf when cut.

Drilling Ecosheet drills well with most drill bits, but we recommend HSS bits especially. Wood bits also give a good result. Holes are best cut by wood spade cutters. Pilot holes are not needed. Ecosheet can be countersunk, although this is not usually needed with posi-screws.

Fillers For a good colour match to standard Ecosheet we can recommend Isopon Bumper Fill from Halfords. Products such as Ultima Plastic Padding and Isopon P38 also worked well.The only wood filler that worked was Ronseal High Performance wood filler.

Routing Ecosheet can be CNC routed, using tungsten carbide cutters.

Edging Ecosheet can be edge-banded.

Weight Lighter than plywood alternatives.

Cleaning Ecosheet is suitable for power washing with easy to clean surfaces.

Waterproof Ecosheet is impervious to moisture and temperature the boards may be stored outdoors. Ecosheet will move a little with temperature and needs to be installed with 4mm expansion gaps between sheets.

Painting Ecosheet Ecosheet is waterproof but if you want to paint it, primer paint the factory pre prepared face and then top coat with a suitable exterior paint.

Profiling Ecosheet can be profiled, although remember that the structure of the panel means that the strength is in the skin and the core is foamed, and will not give a smooth edge.

Laminating High Pressure Laminates (HPL) can be bonded to the face using Bostik Aquaseal 29952.

Gluing We recommend Loctite 3038 for general fabrication work.

Screwing Self tapping posi screws take and hold well without pilot holes.

Nailing Round wires and ring shanks work well but nail guns should not be used.
