WHY HEAT?

- The biological filters remain active - when the water temperature drops below 5
°C (40°F) all biological activity stops, so warming the water avoids the long filter start up process in the Spring.

- Insulate as much as possible, lag exposed pipes and if you are planning a pond, insulate the base and sides.
