Custom Built Tanks  Water, Waste and Grey Water Tanks

for boats R.V.s , trailers & what have youHenderson Plastics tank designs  use high strength, advanced polyethylene and polypropylene materials that overcome the persistent corrosion and weight problems of stainless steel and the mechanical failure of flexible bag style tanks. We use food grade materials in all our tank constructions. This ensures they will not corrode and provide clean, taste free water.All tanks we make are computer designed on our CAD system, the components for each tank are precision cut on one of our two CNC machining centres to the exact shape and size needed. These panels are then fitted together and welded in place using various plastics welding systems.As part of our commitment to quality and reliability, every  water tank,is pressure tested to 4 p.s.i. ( 8' hydraulic head)Our standard specification includes baffles welded inside each tank. On larger tanks the top and baffles are locked into position by means of a interlock arrangement situated under the lid. This design feature prevents the top of the tank from lifting when under pressure.The internal baffles also stiffen the tank  and reduce  'wash' thus minimising the heavy pounding forces against the tank body. We manufacture a simple bolt on access panel, which can be positioned in any location on the top or side,Fresh water and Black water holding tanks fabricated in polypropylene lend themselves to one-off production because there are no expensive mould tools to build. Tanks are of all welded construction and built to the customers own design, but to Hendersons demanding and proven specifications. We can produce limited curved forms,however multifaceted shapes usually solve most design problems. Please bear in mind when designing your tank that the more complicated the shape, the more expensive the tank. Fresh Water Tanks
  •  We manufacture freshwater tanks from 6mm and 9mm black polypropylene. Our in house CAD design and CNC machining means we can produce a finished product from an initial customer sketch quickly and accurately.
  • We weld in all connections to the tank. These are threaded socket which can be fitted into any position on the tank, in sizes which can accept all standard hosetails or fittings which have a male bsp pipe thread.
  • An access panel can be fitted as an optional item
  • Tanks can usually be made to any format. Our basic design, construction and test regime will be the same for each. All we need is a dimensioned sketch indicating positions for inlet, outlet and vent and the pipe sizes being used, use our form  and if you need advice call our office
  • Level sensors are available from simple LED indicators to more sophisticated sensors with a gauge to indicate tank levels.
  • We stock a comprehensive range of  hosetail connectors, both straight and bent, plus hose pipe clips and speedfit pipe and fittings.

Black/Grey Water Tanks
  •  We manufacture Blackwater tanks from 6mm and 9mm black polypropylene. Our in house CAD design and CNC machining means we can produce a finished product from an initial customer sketch quickly and accurately.
  • We weld in all connections to the tank. These are threaded socket which can be fitted into the top tank, in sizes which can accept all standard hosetails or fittings which have a male bsp pipe thread. Pump out connections have an internal drop tube to low level inside the tank.
  • An access panel can be fitted as an optional item
  • Tanks can usually be made to any format. Our basic design, construction and test regime will be the same for each. All we need is a dimensioned sketch indicating positions for inlet, outlet and vent and the pipe sizes.  Use the form  and if you need advice call our office

Shower Trays
  •  Shower trays can be made in black natural white blue or stone colours. We have made all profiles and very often from cardboard templates.
  • Sumps (as shown) can also be provided to drawings provided.
  • Drain fittings from flush fitting flange connectors suitable for domestic waste pipe fittings and threaded socket can be welded directly into the trays.
