The pipe must be cut square with a clean edge.
Remove any burrs or swarfe.
Bevel the outside edge of the cut. (this makes it easier to push it into the socket.)
Push the pipe into the speedfit fitting until it reaches the bottom of the socket
The grip ring prevents the pipe from pulling out or from being pushed out by water pressure
To release the pipe, push the collet into the fitting, at the same time withdraw the pipe.
